WhatsApp broadcasts from your personal number

WhatsApp Business API charges per conversation. chat-valet uses your existing personal or business number — no monthly minimums, no per-message fees beyond your plan.

When WhatsApp Business API is overkill

The official API makes sense if you send tens of thousands of messages a month and can absorb per-conversation billing plus BSP markup. For a small business sending newsletters to 500 customers, it is expensive and slow to set up.

chat-valet connects to the WhatsApp account you already have. Setup takes a minute. Cost is flat, not per-message.

What the broadcast tool does

Contact list management

Upload a CSV or paste numbers directly. Duplicates are removed automatically. International format is supported.

Message personalization

Use {FirstName} style variables pulled from your contact list. Spintax {Hi|Hello|Hey} rotates variants so messages look less identical.

Attachments

Send images, PDFs, or voice clips alongside text. One attachment per message.

Pacing controls

Set a delay between messages and a daily cap per number. Sending slowly is the single most effective way to avoid flags.

Scheduling

Pick a date and time to start the campaign, or send immediately. Campaigns run in the background.

Number verification

Before sending, chat-valet checks which numbers are on WhatsApp. Messages only go to confirmed accounts.

The honest risk warning

The safe zone: appointment reminders, order confirmations, and short newsletters to warm audiences who already know you. Cold outreach to bought lists is risky and, in most countries, illegal under GDPR or equivalent laws.

GDPR note

If you are sending to EU residents, you need a lawful basis — typically explicit consent. Keep a record of when and how each person opted in. chat-valet does not store or validate consent for you; that responsibility is yours. We recommend including an unsubscribe instruction in every broadcast.

Works alongside other features

After a broadcast goes out, inbound replies land in the unified inbox. The AI assistant can handle replies automatically if you enable it — it learns your tone from previous conversations.

You can also set up a keyword bot to answer common questions from people who respond to the broadcast.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from WhatsApp Business API?

The official API requires a verified business account, costs $0.005–$0.15 per conversation depending on country and category, and involves a BSP (Business Solution Provider) setup. chat-valet uses your personal or WhatsApp Business number directly — no BSP, no per-conversation fee, no approval process. The trade-off: personal numbers have no guarantee against blocking for mass sending.

Can WhatsApp block my number?

Yes. WhatsApp can restrict or ban any number it detects sending bulk messages. We have no control over that and we say so upfront. We recommend staying under 20–30 messages per day per number. If volume is your top priority, the official API is the safer route.

Do I need to give recipients a way to opt out?

Under GDPR and most other privacy regulations, yes. You are responsible for collecting consent and honoring unsubscribe requests. chat-valet does not manage consent lists — that part is on you.

What file types can I attach?

Images, PDF documents, and audio files — the same types WhatsApp itself supports for personal messages.

How do I connect my WhatsApp account?

You scan a QR code in your dashboard, exactly like WhatsApp Web. No business verification or phone number transfer required.

Is there a free trial?

All features except the AI assistant are free for 30 days — no card required. After the trial, plans start from $7/month.
